This major course targets in providing the main clues to:
- Understanding the technical reasons of the current system complexity;
- Making the link between application requirements and system characteristics;
- Being able to propose innovative solutions for future systems.
The methodology implemented in the Major EOE is intended to give all necessary materials and is basically described as follows:
- Latest developments: techniques and performance;
- Current functions and systems: implementations and limitations;
- Future systems: targeted performance and possible implementations;
- Strong link with applications.
